It all begins in April 2007 when Johan recorded a couple of songs for fun. But people started to like them as they spread. So he began searching for a line-up to start Salvation Serenade. A group of friends was it and they've only had three weeks to rehears before the first gig. Simon Svennberg (ex In Fear Of Faith) on drums, Daniel Karlsson (ex Reflecting Tomorrow) on guitar and Micke (ex Kunt) and Johan on both vocals and guitar were the line-up so far. Johan found the young and awsome drummer Albin Bennich right after the first gig and a change of drummer was made instantly. Ken Bredell was called in to play guitar and help out with some songs. Micke stayed for one more gig at "Kajrocken" before they found Alexander Karlsson. A great rookie with high ambition when it comes to live shows.

People didn't really noticed the band until "Alla helgons blodiga natt" in November when they played with Embers Arise, Agony Accepted and the local heros Centicore. Ken had a change of heart and left the band. So Johan did both guitar and vocals and they started to play as much as they could and participated in the contest "Rockkarusellen". Robin Dalman found the band as they were searching for a guitarrist. And it didn't take long until Robin became the final piece in the puzzle. They keept playing live and wrote the upcoming EP "As It Never Ends" which were released in late summer 2008. They participated in "Rockkarusellen" once more in 2009 and the succes was a fact.

They band entered Studio Ambassaden in November 2009 to record the EP "Redemption". And before they released it, Robin decided to leave the band in early 2010 after moving to Stockholm. This time it didn't take long until Arvid (My Last Vercity) covered the spot.
